Data security, infrastructure resilience and a guarantee of service continuity
The Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) is drawn up taking into account the nature of the different infrastructures that need to be protected and sets out operational parameters, such as:
- RTO (Recovery Time Objective), i.e. the maximum time of disruption to the service, from the start of the disaster until the successful completion of the Disaster Recovery process,
- RPO (Recovery Point Objective) which is the maximum loss of information that a business process can withstand.
This contingency plan means that recovery procedures are prepared in advance, according to the level of service required, and certain recovery times can be guaranteed.
